First Halloween

So I just happen to find a Halloween outfit in a box of items a friend passed along to me. It happened to be the perfect size for Josiah this Halloween, so again I thought it would be fun to go out and take pictures of him in the leaves with his adorable little "Tigger" costume on.

We headed out down 3rd Ave. after I got home from work about 5:00. I couldn't believe the swarms of parents and kids already on the prowl for candy. It was incredible - I thought you had to wait until after dark to trick or treat. I saw several people I knew with their little ones - so cute. The most adorable was a little lamby outfit with the big long ears. One of the parents reminded me that at this age it's more for us than them - so true.

Anyway I was determined to get some pictures of him in the leaves before the sun went down so I raced off down 3rd Ave toward the park on 12th St. I stopped briefly at this location but the sun wasn't right...

We made it to the park just in time for the perfect twi-light

I had to take this one so you could see the tail - it was so cute

For his cooperation, on the way home I let him have a treat, a molasses teething biscuit that Grandma had sent. You can see he had a lot of fun with it...

Papa got home just in time to see Baby J in his costume before I cleaned him up

That was so fun!

What a darling trick-or-treater!

It blesses me to see Josiah having so much fun with the leaves, and to know that it is being stored in his sealed memory.

We can hardly wait to see you three again!
